Surely the answer is both once you've made a sale on ebay then aim to get them to purchase via your online store
Running both in conjunction is the best option until you build your traffic, but be very careful with your use of links. The Wii market is very competitive, and your opposition would generally have no hesitation in reporting links policy violations.
You can have links on your About Me page, and also have your website address on all email correspondance post-sales.

Yes, use both eBay and your own website.
Look at listing on eBay as advertising for your own site, as just one or two listings are quite cheap to other advertising methods.
Another big advantage to using eBay is RESEARCH.
1. Try out a new product and guage the reaction before spending heaps of $ on it. Very cheap way to do this
2. Easily find out, using eBay's completed listings and other research sites, how much products are selling for, how many are selling, etc.
In the 'normal' world, it is much more difficult to find out how successful your competitiors are.
Cheers!
