There is a bug affecting some members eBay and PayPal account linking at this time. This in turn is affecting their ability to pay/list and in some cases means that Buyer Requirements are blocking accounts that are not hard linked.

In short: Some members that had their accounts linked are now unlinked. The second part is when they go to link their accounts they may get a page that tells them they have successfully signed up for a PayPal account which is not true.

HOWEVER the linking should be successful enabling payment. It possible that they may have to relink their accounts a few days later.

This is a confirmed bug at this time and is being worked on as a priority issue.

Thanks for your patience, I'll post back with information as I get it.

Thanks Jema

Is there any word on the shambolic glitch that has been processing claims incorrectly?

This has been going on for week now and still no signs of it being fixed.

Thanks

May I say Thank you to Jama..  I am so pleased someone has taken notice and not blaming us, our PCs or ISPs.

I for one am very grateful for any help in getting to log into PayPal... even if it is to close my account. Also, this might shut the people here that seem to think we make it up - why on earth would so many users do that.

Thank you Jema

Good Luck **caution**opinion_ahead one of the nice guys here.

Bee/Caution: These are PayPal issues while the above bug is related to the eBay Site. Login Issues are unrelated to this bug.

Bee: I've been posting daily on the P&P board so I'd look there for updates.

Caution: I've passed on all recent information posted around sign in and performance issues on the PayPal site to the PayPal technical team who are reviewing it. Beyond that I'm afraid I don't have anything new on that.

Micheal: See above. Unfortunately it's not related to this bug - these issues are unrelated.

Hotan I think I've responded to you earlier today  Unfortunately it's not related to this bug.
