Ebay's policy's as of October 2008 in requiring that a seller must use Paypal or a form of credit card service to complete a transaction. Also, ebays policy that a seller can not take any adverse action against a non-paying bidder which has happened only 2 times since being a member for many years. I have sold and made not only myself but ebay money from selling using their services...but no longer.

I refuse to be held captive by ebays policy's. I will continue to buy items only. It is ashamed that ebay will loose many sellers and sooner or later it will catch up with them and they will have to change their policy's again or face the ultimate in a rival obtaining all of their sellers that ebay lost...cheers.

I had three bidders bid,and not buy, when I complained on them I got bad feedback. I had 100% feedback and tried to get the bad feedback removed. Ebay says it doens't meet criteria. And told me to reply to the bad feedback. I fear making a sale for fear of bidders no buying. buyers/bidders are not held accountable. Ebay charges too much, then does pay pal.

I hope they go out of business or there is a class action lawsuit. I just got done paying them 9.00, then the next day they come back and want 6.00 more. So I pay that too, but I don't know what that was for! They are money hungry people without care for anyone but themselves.

This resulted in two very bad lying feedback, loss of money, i had to relist.I can't sleep. I'm also being harrased by one that I complained on. She has sent me harrasing e-mails and has her friends and family in on it too. She said she was glad that she could give me bad feedback and ruined my rating and that I coudln't return it to her. She wants me off ebay. There is just all kinds of things.

I ordered and paid for a utility trailer kit, from this person, through eBay. After I received and asembled the trailer, I found out that it had to be inspected and licensed to be used on the road in Pennsylvania. The Certified Inspection Center required me to provide a Certificate of Origin document, identifying simply the place where this product was originally made. After numerous attempts to obtain this document from the manufacturer of the trailer, I was informed that they would release it only to the original purchaser of the kit; the person who then sold it to me, and that I must then obtain it from him.

I then contacted the original purchaser to respectfully, and nicely request a copy of the Certificate. He did not respond to my request. Approximately three weeks later I again contacted him through e-mail. He responded with a curt, arrogant, and dismissive e-mail, refusing to forward the certificate. My wife then forwarded to him a kind and detailed reason why we needed the certificate. He has never responded.

We now have a utility trailer that we cannot legally use; we can't have it inspected without the Certificate of Origin Document, and I have not been able to obtain this document myself from the manufacturer. I am at loss for the $164.98 cost of the trailer.

E-bay seller still owes promised items will not send due to no feedback. Hello, I bought a 2005 Minivan on E-Bay back on June 22nd, flew to Tampa and picked up the vehicle on June 25th. After signing the title I realized that the interior pictures on e-bay were not the ones of the actual vehicle except for the color. Several items were missing such as satellite radio, center consol (between the seats), power adjustable pedals and the center dashboard is slightly different as well. Call the seller and of course he would not take the vehicle back.

Besides the interior the exterior had overspray on three fenders, door handles and bumpers were repainted, major dents on roof, headlight not aligned (most likely slight front end damage), different tires etc. Called the seller immediately after realizing these flaws which was about 1 hour after the documentation but he did not take the vehicle back. All of these were not described nor were they visible on the pictures.

Seller offered $ 500 usd plus I would receive the missing key and the center consol. Agreed on it as I had no other choice being in Tampa. So my deposit of 400 usd was refunded via Paypal. Now after two month I still have not received the remaining money, the key and the center consol. Sent several reminders and the seller indicated that they will be sent by the end of last week.

After sending another reminder he told all is ready to be sent but only if I leave a positive feedback which I denied due to the above reasons. But I promised that I would not leave a feedback at all which was not satisfying for him. I have his previous promise in writing to send me the missing items and he never mentioned anything about the positive feedback. I should have all the rights to get these items and the money which were promised to me, correct? What is the best way to file a complaint? Small Claim Court? Better Business Bureau? What are the chances? Everything is documentated on e-mail and via e-bay. I appreciate your feedback

Guess there is nothing I can do about the fraudulent content (pictures of a wrong interior) and the misleading exterior, correct? I pretty much want the promised items from the seller as agreed. There is no reason to hold these back because I do not leave a feedback.

They were selling the Waterpik WP-360 on EBAY. They advertised that besides the 2 piks that come in the manufacturers box, I would receive the following additional accessories: (3) standard jet tips (3) tongue cleaner jet tips (1) deep cleaning pik pocket tip (1) ortho tip to clean dental work

The package arrived with the waterpik in the manufacturer's box with the 2 piks that the manufacturer includes. However, the additional accessories Allbrands.com claimed they would send did not come. I contacted them via email & phone numerous times and each time I was told they would check into this. All I want are the accessories that was promised.

To date, they have not sent anything and the last communication from them informed me that I can return the product, but they will not send the advertised accessories. I do not want to return the product - I like the waterpik. I do, however, want the advertised accessories. They should be held accountable to send those to me as originally posted at EBAY. I do have a print out of what was posted. Thanks for our help.

Hi, owner of store was selling d&g bustier on ebay, I emailed and asked ifshe had a larger size. She did so I bought it directly and paid her via paypal, $250. I received bustier which was the wrong size, I sent her the item back after paying customs charge and return postage, total $322. She said she sent me replacement, never received and she did not provide proof of postage (i have proof of postage of the item i sent to her and she received it ok).

I have emailed 5 times and called the store twice and left messages. I know this is not a lot of money but it is the principal of her being so dishonest, the first time I called the store the sales assistant said the owner was on holiday till 1st August (i called one month ago)i gave her the benefit of the doubt that she would refund my mone via paypal on her return, I heard nothing!I called again the sales assistant confirmed she had passed the message, but still nothing, please advise.

I have bought off ebay a number of times. Not so long ago i bought three item of which none of them i received. I contacted each seller and the problem was not sorted out. I then contacted ebay and again the problem was not sorted out.

The first item i bought was 2 playstation games from one seller. One game was called True Crime - New York City and the other game was called Just cause. The second purchase i made was a mobile phone called the Nokia N95. No where on the page did the seller say what was included. I soon found out that this sale was for just the accesories with out the phone. ( I had asked the seller as the page did not say what was included)But when i found out it was too late as i had all ready paid. I did not even recevie the accesories in the end. I then bought a SPV M600 which is a pocket pc / Phone in one from a seller

True Crime - New York City was 1.00 GBP, Just cause was 2.70 GBP. The shipping for these two items was 2.50 GBP. This brought the total purchase to 6.20 GBP . The Nokia N95 Came to 35 GBP and shipping was 20 GBP giving a total of 55 GBP. The SVP m600 came to 49.00 GBP and shipping was 8 GBP, giving a total of 57 GBP. The total of all the items which i paid for and i did not receive came to a total of 118.20 GBP

ebay has this great scam. they give you a selling manager for 'free' when you open a store. when you close the store, you assume you are closing the store and all. But No, selling manager stays and then is no longer free! it's $4.99 a month. And they take it out of your bank account every month w/o most people even knowing.

I  have won the items on march 23, paid 67.37$ US on march 23 and bought shipping insurance (2.20$ US) for a total of 69.57$ US. contacted member on may 8th and he gave me a email saying he was looking into it and not to worry he will get back to me (never did) tried sending other emails without any replay.

opened dispute may 15. i was not aware that i had to close a dispute before it could move on and i thought i lost out on my win as i could not leave feedback or go through paypal with on ongoing dispute. i had recieved an email from ebay that my dispute was about to close and i had new life on the persute to retrieve my winnings. i had closed all disputes on june 19. what is my course of action. i have emails copies of everything. Ebay has to wait the 90 days to leave negitive feedback incase it can be resolved and it has the item is no longer valid after 90 days!

lost out on collector edition hockey cards that have already tripled in value. i have lost ALL credibility to ebay and not to mention the one item was a gift for my neighbour for helping me take care of my dog.

I have attempted two computer purchases through eBay, both of which turned out to be through fradulent sellers. eBay has been in touch with me regarding these transactions but are of absolutely no help with recouping my losses and I am sure that despite their disclaimers they are ultimately responsible for any fraud perpetrated through their site. Do they not hold ultimate responsibility for verification of the sellers and the merchandise offered on their site?

They have removed the items from my items won list, but as far as I can tell that is all that they do and they don't seem to do much if anything to help prosecution of the sellers. I am interested in joing any class action lawsuit for buyers who have had this same experience. I strongly advise anyone condidering any purchases through eBay NOT TO DEAL WITH THEM!!!

I won an auction and immediately the seller tried to charge me double the shipping fees listed. I had already checked out and I knew this was against ebay's rules. After many emails back and forth the seller refused several times to mail me the item even if I paid. When I did not pay and left him negative feedback he filed a non-paying bidder dispute on me. I spent an entire 8 hour day dealing with this dispute. I don't see how I can receive a non-paying bidder strike when I clearly stated several times in writing that I was willing to pay the amount stated in the auction, and he stated several times he would not mail the item if I did pay.

THEY HAD WAITED TILL THE LAST FEW HOURS OF THE AUCTION AFTER 6 DAYS TO CANCEL IT BUT THEY LET ME OPEN A ACCOUNT AND RUN IT UNTIL JUST BEFORE THE END OF MY AUCTION !!!

i lost out on the sale of my camera and i assuming all the buyers interested think i have now been caught for supposidly scamming which is not true I WOULDNT WASTE MY TIME OR ANYBODYS WITH EBAY THEY ARE A WASTE OF SPACE !!!!

I received a chip, which was nothing more than a 50 cent diode available from Radio Shack, that when installed on my Mazda, would supposedly increase my mileage by 10 mpg. It actually caused me to lose mileage.

Tuned Engineering (on Ebay) guarasnteed its performance or my money back. I received an RA, sent it back, and they refuse to respond or send the refund. The total was only $16.00 but it is the principal that matters to me.

It has been 4 months now and I continue to email them. Theyu will not respond. Can you direct me to what governmental agencys etc that I should complain to? This is fraud. I am not going to give up ojn this. They would like me to, but i will not. Thank you for your help. TUNED ENGINEERING is a ripoff!!! Everyone beware!

I recently joined the gym at that my current company that I work for offers. Due to not working out for a long period of time I have experienced muscle pain. I do alot of shopping on E-Bay and after a search found that muscle therapy products were being sold on the site. I purchased a total of 5 boxes of Icy Hot Heat Therapy Air Activated Heat products off of E-Bay. I purchased the products from 3 different vendors on March 4 and March 16, 2008.

After receiving this product and using it I noticed that I got what I thought was a rash from it. Later I found out that it was actually a burn. I did a Google web search on the product and found out that on February 8, 2008 -- Chattem, Inc. (the makers of this product) announced that it is initiating a Nationwide recall of its Icy Hot Heat Therapy products. The web posting from the FDA went on to state that over 200 people received 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree burns from this product.

My question is, can I hold E-Bay liable for letting a recalled item be sold on their site? Or can I hold the person(s) that sold it to me on e-bay liable? One of the seller's is a pharmaceutical store located in New York. I purchased 5 boxes total from 3 different e-bay sellers/listers. Also, is there anything I can due against the manufacturer? I have 2 boxes of the product unopened and 1 opened. I have all the E-bay documents and Pay-Pal receipts ect. The burn is located on my upper chest area, I have not seen a doctor yet, but plan so in the next day or two if it does not get better. I have pictures of the injury as well.

Just started selling on ebay after years of buying. They suddenly freeze my account will not give me my money and refuse to honor the paperwork I give them to comply

I was evicted from my home-I had already suffered the death of my mother, that was a loss of income and then they do this!

Holby.

I would not pay for a diddly squat in ebay via money order. It's risky, as you found out. Always check to see if the seller offers a secure payment method.

As a rule, don't buy from any seller unless you hare dead sure they are legit. Email them before buying, it's amazing what you can learn form the relplies!
